the mammothyosemitiogasierra traverse

as a sort of year anniversary from our trip last summer through austria, hungary and slovenia, dad, doug and i took an overnight ride across the sierras to mammoth lakes along hwy 395. doug’s friend aaron joined us with his powderpuff suzuki moped device… some much needed comic relief to keep us from rightly dominating the pavement with our badass selves on our badass beamers.
the best part of the trip for me, which i have no photographic record of, was having the other three reluctantly endure the bar-resetting experience of riding through a snowstorm and then heavy rain (which we sought to avoid). in the end, it was a non-issue, aside from cold hands… hopefully our next trip’s decisions won’t be made in a futile attempt to avoid bad weather.
